Sierra is a film and digital photographer focused on the connectedness of people, the earth, and our traditions weaved together by the cultures we grew from. Photographing from a curious mind, not uninvolved, but entangled between the corners of the rooms and the middle of the circles, where humanness grows.

Raised as a daughter of a film portrait photographer, she learned to follow light and watch it illuminate stories within our stories. And uphold the responsibility and delight, of what it is, to leave people with new perspectives of themselves.

Currently based in Southern California, and rounding out her 7th year as a wedding photographer, Sierra approaches each photograph as a relationship between herself and the life unfolding before her. A silent language told in emotions, quiet intimacy, looks, a touch, whether it be the sun to a leaf or eyes searching in another’s.
